Still Here
Well, pretty much the same old, same old around here.
Spent the weekend in Gatlinburg at the annual church youth retreat I've been chaperoning for years and years, I'm about to run out of teenagers! It makes me kind of sad to think about the near future when I won't have anyone to 'chaperone'. I made the trip with the son and two step-sons, we had a great time but it was way cold, 10 degrees on Sunday morning!
The grandprince is sick :( He has a pretty nasty respiratory virus but is getting better quickly thanks to daily breathing treatments. I've been snapping pictures with the new camera like crazy but can't figure out how to get them off of the Media Center?? We're currently shopping for a new laptop so hopefully it will have a better program.
I guess this is pretty big news; I'm going back to school! The man started back and the 'higher education' bug bit me hard. I will be attempting to obtain a degree in Web Design and Layout. Starting out small focusing on an Associate's Degree after which I'll decide about going further. I started thinking about my golden years and realized that given my health issues there very possibly could come a day when me working outside the home on any level might not be possible but I could most likely work from home and lets face it the age of web development and commerce isn't going anywhere, so it just seemed like a good choice. I'm very excited but also a little nervous as most of my classes will be through the Regents Online courses. I think I have the motivation but worry a little about the organization and discipline it will take. Time will tell.
I wish I were more motivated to write. I miss the blog community but it seems like my 'real' life always throws a big wrench into the best laid plans. Oh who am I kidding, I've gotten lazy. There, I said it.
So, what's new with you?

Fabulous news - congratulations and you have the right attitude - baby steps, take it slow. If you study as well as you write, you'll be flying through your courses!

I've missed you, too! Hurray for going back to school! Of course, it's not like you don't have enough to do already. ;-)

I got a degree in web design. It was a good decision and I know you will think so too. Some nights though, I could not sleep with all the coding spinning around in my head. LOL
Pretty sad when I am thinking more of coding than what is for dinner. LOL

I've been lazy too...it's. It's not really Lazy, it's, uh, well...it's just taking a break. I didn't post for 2 months.
Congrats on returning to school. That's fantastic!
I hope by now the grandprince is well. Lexy has chronic broncitis and has to have breathing treatments every winter. I'm hoping she'll outgrow it.
Take Care :)
