Cleveland Rocks!
Drew Carey certainly got it right! I'd been to Cleveland before and knew a little about the town. The last visit I spent in the 'burbs and saw very little of downtown. This trip we stayed right on Lake Erie in the middle of downtown. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. Not once was I asked, "Where are you from?"--this is a regular thing when I travel too far away from the South, my drawl is just a tad pronounced ( pun intended)! We stayed on the 11th floor facing the lake. If there'd been just a hint of salt in the air and higher mercury I'd have thought I was at the beach.
Great news concerning correcting my chronic A-fib. I am a candidate for the PVAI procedure. There's a pretty short article about it herehttp://www.clevelandclinic.org/quality/outcomes/card iovascularMedicine/cardia c.htm" title="http://www.clevelandclinic.org/quality/outcomes/card iovascularMedicine/cardia c.htm" target="_blank"http://www.clevelandclinic.or... The whole procedure will take about 5 hours and I'll spend 3 days in Cleveland but only one in the hospital. And speaking of hospitals...The Cleveland Clinic is unlike anything I have ever seen. And I've seen my fair share of hospitals, such as Vanderbilt and
The date isn't scheduled yet because my doctor normally only does them 2 days a week but he's adding a 3rd day some weeks and they're trying to get me in asap, not because I'm so sick but more because I've been dealing with it for so long. I'll keep you posted on the progress. Before I started to write this I read my last post. Gawd, could that have been any more pathetic? heh. I was really excited and sad I think. I'm still having a lot of issues with my Mother's death. So please forgive me for seeming so pitiful, lol.
And finally...I do think I am going to start another blog. I am in the process of either repairing the old home computer or buying a notebook. And it just seems like the t-blog community is falling apart. I am just as frustrated as everyone else, so I think maybe I need to look for a more dependable site as I want to write much more often. In a way t-blog has been the gateway to meeting so many wonderful people/writers for me, I hope I can keep up with you all and vice versa. But until I get a new one going I'll be posting here when I can. And writing...I miss writing.
And I miss you all.
**my baby, aka my daughter turned 19 yesterday. Im so frickin OLD!
Look Out...
...new things to come!
I miss a lot of people and wonder what's going on with them. I wonder if they think about me too?
p.s. the changes will have to wait until I return from Cleveland, have my app. there on Thursday...yep, I'll be sure and post the results of that trip
:)
